Love Drawing Podcast 17 – A matter of time

We discuss how to approach figure drawings of different lengths – quick 2 minute poses, 5 min, 10 min, 20 min and 45 minute poses.

Each one allows you to focus on different elements of drawing. With less time, you need to relinquish some control, forget about corrections an measurements, and facial features. In some cases, you have enough time to put in shorthands for facial features and hands. With more time, the challenge is partly about retaining the sense of energy and life in the drawing without overworking it.

We hope you enjoy it – please subscribe to the Love Drawing Podcast on your favourite podcast app if do 🙂
